THIS MESSAGE IS BEING SENT TO ALL REGISTRARS, PRESIDENTS AND PLAYERS
The registration dates for individual member registration with USA Hockey have been
changed.
USA Hockey has decided to return to the September 1 - August 31 regular playing season
and registration dates for all members. All 2009/2010 USA Hockey registrations will be valid
until August 31st, 2010.
On-line registration with USA Hockey for the 2010/2011 season will begin April 1, 2010 for
all members.
The period from April 1, 2010 to August 31st, 2010 is considered to be the Spring/Summer
Hockey Season. Registration for spring teams with AHAI will begin April 1, 2010. Rosters will
not be accepted for spring teams prior to April 1st.
Those players that have a confirmation number for the 2009/2010 season will NOT need to
re-register with USA Hockey to play spring hockey. The 2009/2010 confirmation number will
be valid for the spring season.
The 2010/2011 USA Hockey on line individual member registration will open April 1, 2010.
Members that register for the 2010/2011 registration period after April 1st will not need to
register again in the fall. Their registration will be valid from the time they register until
August 31, 2011.
The 2010/2011 Cybersport programs will be released to your organization's registrar on
May 1st.
Teams formed after April 1, 2010 and before May 1, 2010 should use the 2009/2010
confirmation numbers for players that they are registering on their teams and the
2009/2010 Cybersport program. Players that do not have a 2009/2010 USA Hockey
registration should register on line with USA Hockey after April 1, 2010 to obtain their
2010/2011 registration. That number will be valid and accepted in the 2009/2010
Cybersport program.
Teams that are formed after May 1, 2010 and will conclude their play prior to August 31st
may use their 2009/2010 registrations. Players that were not registered in 2009/2010 and
are playing on teams that will be active from May 1, 2010 to August 31, 2010 should
register for the 2010/2011 season and those confirmation numbers will be accepted in the
2009/2010 cybersport program.
Teams that are formed after May 1, 2010 may use their 2009/2010 Cybersport program but
they need to be aware that all 2010/2011 member registrations that are entered into the
2009/2010 cybersport program will need to be re-entered into the 2010/2011 cybersport
program.
ALL TIER I organizations must require a 2010/2011 USA Hockey member registration
number and use the 2010/2011 cybersport program to register their players and create
their teams for the 2010/2011 season. Official 2010/2011 USA Hockey Rosters will be
required for all Tier I teams at the time of team registration.
