Dear Parents,
This year, as in the past we are looking to reduce league fees
by seeking advertising sponsorships for Jacobs Hockey Club.
The program is designed to provide direct benefits to you and
your son, and season long opportunities for our valued
advertisers.
The sponsor forms include an advertiser letter outlining the
programs offered and a list of previous sponsors. The list is
divided into sponsors solicited by current players and
sponsors of past seniors. We ask that you only solicit
sponsors you had last year, sponsorships of past seniors, or
new sponsors. The focus is on building a relationship with
local businesses by offering them continuous opportunities
through an advertising program that will be distributed
throughout the season. For those advertisers who are
uncertain, we offer several options that could prove just as
valuable.
The big question is “what’s in it for you?” Well, the proceeds
from your efforts will go directly to reduce your son’s fees. For
each advertising sponsorship, 70% of the proceeds will go
directly to reduce your fees. The remaining 30% will be used
by the club to produce the game programs (brochures) and
sponsorship plaques. Additionally, if you secure advertising
sponsorships in excess of your league fees, the amount over
your fee will be applied toward your son’s equipment costs or
other team fees.
This year the advertising program will offer continuous
exposure for our generous advertisers and substantial
rewards to each of you. I hope that through our collective
support, we can produce game programs that will prove
beneficial to our team as well as our sponsors.
In order to ensure we promptly publish the sponsorship book;
please submit all sponsorship forms along with sponsorship
money to Cathy Broz no later than October 15, 2009
