Alumni Game
"Over 32 former players returned for the Jacobs Alumni Game & Miller Family Benefit. The players ranged from the
graduating class of 2000 thru 2009. Both Miller boys played and Nick Miller, our honoree, (who was not feeling well) stayed
through the 1st period. Orange wristbands were given out to everyone that stated "Nick Miller, Never Quit". Over $2600 was
raised in cash, checks & Gift Cards for the Miller Family through everyones generous donations!
It was a close game with the White taking a slight lead over the Black Team. In between periods we held the Chuck-a-Duck
contest and 3 prizes were awarded. Buffalo Wild Wings & Houlihans were very generous and donated $25.00 gift cards for
the Fundraiser. During the 3rd period Mike Miller drew names for the 50/50 Raffle and Jesica Perrone won $115.00 for 1st
place, TJ Lawson won a Houlihans Gift Card for 2nd place and Merilee Berg won a Santa picture frame for 3rd place.
The referees kept the game moving, 2 penalty shots were awarded during the game with Goalies AJ Bevevino & Matt
Kosonavich turning away both shots. Other highlights included Tim Miller scoring a Hat Trick.
All players & fans were served refreshments at the end and Andy Miller Sr. remained to thank everyone who came & helped
with the event!"
