JACOBS HOCKEY HIRES NEW DIRECTOR / COACH
Jacobs Hockey Club welcomes the addition of
Chip Anderson. Chip joins us from Cary Grove
High School where he was the Assistant Varsity
Coach for the past few years. Chip has over
twenty years of coaching experience at the AA,
AAA levels of Club and High School Hockey. He
has Level Four Certification and is in the process
of completing Level Five during the next few
months.
After a lengthy search the new Board agreed that
we needed to move into a different direction and
feel that Chip was (and is) the best answer for
the Club. As Director of Hockey / Varsity Head
Coach, Chip will be responsible for implementing
a system and a new culture for the Club. His first
order of business will be to hire his assistant
coaches. This process will be completed by the
end of July.
Chip brings a wealth of knowledge, experience
and determination to the Club. He will set high
expectations and will make this upcoming season
a positive experience for Jacobs Hockey. His
philosophy and the system he will deploy will
teach and challenge our players at all levels.
Additionally, the Board is interviewing for a Head
Coach of JV and will have an announcement in
the next few weeks.
The Club will be communicating with ALL the
players during the next several days.
Check the site for information on Summer Skates
and off-season conditioning and a "meet the
coach" night that will be scheduled soon.
